The case demonstrates how a brand was created “to capture the world’s imagination.” Needless to say, IBM has tremendous resources to properly build a brand. The bottom pages 104-5 of our textbook illustrates a five-part branding process. Review the case from your own perspective after reading the Process Basics chapter of our textbook. Comment on how you believe IBM might have followed all five steps of the branding process.
